The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (Sac Metro Air District) will host a public meeting on June 4, 2024, for the Air Quality Steering Committee representing the South Sacramento/Florin Community. The Steering Committee works with the Sac Metro Air District to improve air quality in the South Sacramento/Florin community. The agenda for the steering committee meeting is anticipated to cover the following topics:

• Community Boundary Discussion
  
• Bus Tour Discussion​
  

During the June 4, 2024 Steering Committee meeting, there will be a hands-on group activity as part of the community boundary and bus tour discussion. The hands-on group activity will be only available in person. The materials provided during the activity will be made available online so that remote participants can review the information and provide feedback during the debriefing part of the discussion items. While the meeting is in person with a remote option, it is recommended that participants attend in person to maximize their participation ​during the meeting. ​

If you need an interpreter for this meeting, please send an email request to AB617Clerk@airquality.org. The request must be received by 5:00pm on May 28, 2024. The request must indicate what language you need and whether you will be attending the meeting in person or through the remote/virtual option. The District will attempt to secure live interpreter services for the language requested; if the District is unable to secure interpreters in your language, you will be notified prior to the meeting.

El Distrito Metropolitano de Administración de la Calidad del Aire de Sacramento (Sac Metro Air District) hospedará una reunión pública el 4 de junio, 2024, del Comité Directivo de la Calidad del Aire cual representa la comunidad del sur de Sacramento/Florin. El Comité Directivo trabaja con el Distrito de Aire Sac Metro para mejorar la calidad del aire en la comunidad de Sur Sacramento/Florin. Se prevé que la agenda para la reunión del Comité Directivo incluirá los siguientes temas: 

• Discusión del Perímetro de la Comunidad ​
  
• Discusión del​ Recorrido del Autobús​​
  

Durante la junta del comité directivo, en junio 4 2024, habrá una actividad interactiva como parte de la discusión del perímetro de la comunidad y el recorrido del autobús. La actividad interactiva solo será disponible en persona. Los materiales proveídos durante la actividad serán disponibles en línea; de esta manera, los participantes en línea podrán revisar la información y proveer comentario durante la discusión. Aunque la junta será en persona con opción de participar en línea, es recomendado que los participantes atendan en persona para maximizar su participación durante la junta. ​
