EPA Information and Data
On April 15, 2004 EPA
issued designations on attainment and nonattainment of the 8-hour
ozone standard. EPA also issued a new rule classifying areas by
the severity of their ozone conditions and establishing the deadline
state and local governments must meet to reduce ozone levels.

local agencies work together to report current and forecast conditions
