The Compliance Assistance Hotline is designed to answer
questions regarding compliance with air quality regulations, including:
You may request the AQMD to conduct a Facility
Review at your business. This is a non-regulatory inspection conducted
by AQMD staff. The purpose of the Facility Review is to provide on-site
education to businesses on the particular air quality regulations affecting
their operations in order to prevent future violations.
The AQMD provides several brochures designed to assist
businesses, individuals and other interested parties in understanding
air quality regulations.
As needed, the AQMD provides programs and/or partners
with other agencies to assist businesses in a classroom environment. In
these settings business owners and their employees are invited to learn
about air quality compliance, the implications of being out of compliance
and innovative approaches to pollutant emission reductions. For further
