Folsom Sphere of Influence (SOI)  Amendment South of 50

Folsom added 3,585 undeveloped acres south of Highway 50 between Prairie City Road, White Rock Road and the El Dorado County line to the city’s sphere of influence in 2001. The city completed the public input component of a visioning process for the area and has created a preferred scenario that with 11,340 to 14,630 new dwelling units, 8,800 to 10,300 employment opportunities, 100 acres of highway commercial and additional commercial and retail uses.

After visioning process the city would annex the area.
