Outside of City; to be annexed in 577 acre mixed-use project, crossroads of I-5 and 99. 3400-3500 residences, future DNA (light rail) line, 48 acres of commercial, 48 acres of parks, & elementary school.

Interstate 5 / Cosumnes River Blvd. Interchange and Extension Project

Extends Cosumnes River Boulevard from its current westerly terminus at Franklin Boulevard to an interchange at I-5, and then farther west to an at-grade intersection with Freeport Boulevard.

The City has released a final EIR for this project.

244 acres with high density residential, office, retail, hotel, and historical uses. Location: north of the Central Business District, east of Sacramento River and I-5, west of Alkali-Flat neighborhood, south of the Richards Blvd. area.
