The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (District) is committed to transparency and providing public access to government records in accordance with the California Public Records Act (Government Code section 7920.000 et seq.).
Members of the public may request copies of identifiable District records that are not otherwise exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
Before submitting a request, please review the information below to help ensure your request can be processed as efficiently as possible.

Permit information and facility locations are currently available through the District's Permitted Facilities webpage.
Additional online public information resources are currently under development.

Before You Submit a Request
Providing detailed information helps District staff locate information more efficiently and may reduce the need for follow-up clarification.
When available, please include: Facility name
- Facility ID number or Organization ID
- Business name
- Street address
- Permit number
- Complaint number
- Violation number
- Asbestos project number
- Relevant date range
- Type of record being requested
The more specific your request, the easier it will be for District staff to identify responsive records.
