Kathrine Pittard is the District Counsel of the Sac Metro Air District. Ms. Pittard has served as the District Counsel since August 1999. She received a bachelor's degree from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio in 1982, and a law degree from the McGeorge School of Law in 1987.
Prior to becoming Counsel for the District, Ms. Pittard worked in the private sector for Miller, Karp and Grattan, specializing in environmental permitting, and Remy, Thomas and Moose, focusing on review of projects subject to the California Environmental Quality Act.
Ms. Pittard has been active in the legal committee of the California Air Pollution Control Officers Association (CAPCOA), including serving as the Committee President and Vice President.
