COVID-19

General Information

Sac Metro Air District offices are open to the public. Business hours are Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Customers and visitors (including contractors) entering the District premises must check in with the front office staff and provide evidence upon arrival of proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours of the visit. Proof of vaccination or negative test may be physical (paper) or digital, e.g., an image on phone or tablet. Visitors without proof of vaccination but with a negative COVID-19 test result will be required to wear a proper face covering and practice physical distancing.

The District will continue to offer telephone consultations and allow submission of documents by email, which have proven to be effective methods of conducting business for many of the customers the District serves.

Permit Applications & Fees

Permit applications can be submitted electronically, by mail, or by dropping documents at the District's main office. Fee payments can be made by eCheck, credit/debit card, and other payment methods by selecting the “payments” link at the top of the District’s website or by mailing a check.

Asbestos Notifications

The District continues to process asbestos notifications and review projects.  All asbestos forms may be submitted via email:  asbestos@airquality.org
