Incentive Toolkit

Sac Metro Air District incentive program recipients are required to brand and promote projects to help ensure that Air District programs are widely recognized as a regional resource for advancing clean air and climate resilience goals. 

The toolkit and associated resources are provided to help grantees meet branding and promotion requirements. The toolkit provides guidance and templates for project photos, testimonials, social media posts, newsletters, website posts, news releases, and events.  

District Wordmarks and Branding Files​​​

​On-Road Vehicles and Infrastructure

All on-road vehicles and infrastructure projects must be branded with the Sac Metro Air District's wordmark. Use of the Air District’s name and wordmark must adhere to the District's Brand Guidelines outlined in the Incentive Toolkit. 

Sac Metro Air District Vertical Wordmarks

  • PNG Files (for use on printed or digital materials): 
    • Full-Color (for use on white or light-colored backgrounds)
    • White (for use on dark backgrounds)
  • EPS files* (for use on vehicles  and infrastructure): 

Sac Metro Air District Horizontal Wordmarks

  • PNG Files (for use on printed or digital materials)
    • Full-Color (for use on white or light-colored backgrounds)
    • White (for use on dark backgrounds)
  • EPS files* (for use on vehicles  and infrastructure): 
    • Full-Color (for use on white or light-grey vehicles or infrastructure projects)
    • White (for use on all other vehicle colors)
*EPS files require Photoshop to open/view, but they can be saved and sent to designers creating branding.

Off-Road Vehicles and Equipment

District-approved decals for off-road vehicles and equipment are provided at the time of inspection by your project manager.

​California Climate Investments

Projects that also receive funding from California Climate Investments (CCI) must adhere to CCI's Media and Communications Guidelines.

California Climate Investments (CCI) is the umbrella brand for all programs funded by Cap-and-Trade dollars. The State of California developed the brand to emphasize the importance of the Cap-and-Trade program as an essential piece of California's climate portfolio that generates revenue to invest in clean technologies and reduce pollution, particularly in the state's most disadvantaged communities.
