Comprehensive Capital Region Climate Priorities Plan Available

In December 2025, the Sac Metro Air District shared the Comprehensive Capital Region Climate Priorities Plan which serves as the CPRG Comprehensive Climate Action Plan for the Sacramento region. The plan builds on the Priority Climate Action Plan and includes 26 measures organized into four categories – the built environment, energy, transportation, and natural and working lands. A new chapter with funding and financing strategies was also incorporated to support local climate action.
Implementation Roadmaps

Implementation roadmaps outline key steps, lead agencies, partners, timelines, potential challenges, community benefits, and cost-effectiveness for eight priority measures. These roadmaps will guide jurisdictions as they advance infill development, zero-emission transportation, renewable energy, wildfire resilience, and sustainable farming projects.
