NOTICE OF SOUTH SACRAMENTO/FLORIN STEERING COMMITTEE OPENINGS

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District is looking for South Sacramento/Florin community residents to serve on an Air Quality Steering Committee. This committee will give the District ideas to help improve air quality and will recommend the best ways to share air quality information with the South Sacramento/Florin community. The committee members may earn a monthly stipend, depending upon their eligibility and whether funds are available.

Este comité le dará al Distrito ideas para ayudar a mejorar la calidad del aire y recomendará las mejores formas de compartir información sobre la calidad del aire con la comunidad del sur de Sacramento/Florin. Los miembros del comité pueden ganar un salario mensual, según su elegibilidad y si hay fondos disponibles.

The AB617 South Sacramento/Florin Community Steering Committee (SC) meets on the fourth Monday of each month in between the quarterly meetings. These monthly meetings will be referred to as the AB617 Community Engagement (CE) meetings. These meetings will serve as a time to have the subcommittees and workgroups report back and to hear from the South Sacramento/Florin community members. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

El Comité Directivo de Calidad del Aire AB 617 del sur de Sacramento/Florin se reúne el cuarto martes de cada mes entre las reuniones trimestrales. Esta sesión se refiere a una reunión del Participación Comunitaria (CE, por sus siglas en inglés) AB617. Las reuniones del CE sirven para que los subcomités y grupos de trabajo informen al Comité Directivo y para escuchar de los miembros de la comunidad del sur de Sacramento/Florin. Todos los miembros del público son bienvenidos y se les anima a asistir.
