Community Air Protection

The Sac Metro Air District is hosting virtual office hours on Thursday, July 31, 2025, focusing on questions you may have related to CERP strategy development and questions regarding the past Steering Committee meeting.  [Link to webpage with Steering Committee meeting materials: https://www.airquality.org/Air-Quality-Health/Community-Air-Protection/Community-Meetings]​

The optional virtual office hours will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, starting at 6:00 p.m on Zoom. If no participants join by 6:15 p.m., we will close the session to ensure efficient use of staff time. However, if there are participants and engagement, staff will remain available to answer questions until 7:30 p.m. If you have further questions or cannot attend due to a conflict, we can help arrange an appointment with District staff.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

In-Person Location: Maple Neighborhood Center Multipurpose Room (3301 37th Ave, Sacramento, CA  95824)

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (Sac Metro Air District) will host an in-person only public meeting on October 27, 2025, for the Air Quality Steering Committee representing the South Sacramento/Florin Community. A remote/virtual option will not be available. The Steering Committee works with the Sac Metro Air District to improve air quality in the South Sacramento/Florin community. The agenda for the steering committee meeting is anticipated to cover the following topics:​​​

• CERP Strategy Prioritization Activity
  
• Vote to Accept Results of Strategy Prioritization Activity​
  

The CERP strategy prioritization activity will be interactive and conducted in-person only. The Sac Metro Air District requests that the Steering Committee members and public participants attend in-person to participate. A remote/virtual option will not be provided for this meeting.​

If you need an interpreter for this meeting, please send an email request to AB617Clerk@airquality.org.​ The request must be received by 5:00pm on October 20, 2025. The request must indicate what language you need. The District will attempt to secure live interpreter services for the language requested; if the District is unable to secure interpreters in your language, you will be notified prior to the meeting.

AVISO PÚBLICO SOBRE REUNIÓN DEL COMITÉ DIRECTIVO

Ubicación en persona: Maple Neighborhood Center Multipurpose Room (3301 37th Ave, Sacramento, CA  95824)​

El Distrito Metropolitano de la Calidad del Aire de Sacramento (Distrito del Aire de Sacramento) organizara una junta pública (solo en persona) 27 de octubre 2025 para el Comité Directivo de la Calidad del Aire de Sur de Sacramento/Florin. La opción remota/virtual para la junta no será disponible. El Comité Directivo trabaja con el Distrito del Aire de Sacramento para mejorar la calidad del aire en la comunidad del Sur de Sacramento/Florin. Se anticipa que la agenda cubrirá los siguientes temas: ​​​​​

• Actividad de priorización de estrategias del CERP​
  
• Votar para aceptar los resultados de la actividad de priorización de estrategias​​
  

Las actividades de priorización de estrategias del CERP serán interactivas y realizadas en persona solamente. El Distrito del Aire de Sacramento pide que los miembros del Comité Directivo, y participantes del publico atiendan en persona para participar. La opción remota/virtual no será disponible para la junta. ​

Si necesita un intérprete para esta reunión, envíe una solicitud por correo electrónico a AB617Clerk@airquality.org. La solicitud debe recibirse antes de las 5:00pm 20 de octubre, 2025. La solicitud debe indicar qué idioma necesita. El Distrito intentará conseguir servicios de interpretación en directo para el idioma solicitado; si el Distrito no puede conseguir intérpretes en su idioma, se le notificará antes de la reunión.
