The purpose of our social media pages is to enable the District to post matters of public interest concerning District programs, activities, news, photos and videos, and to encourage members of the public to engage with those posts. Sac Metro Air District’s intent is to create a forum devoted exclusively to its postings, and comments from members of the public should be relevant to the subject matter of the post to which they are responding. We welcome discussion and questions and seek to maintain an environment that is civil and appropriate for all ages.
In order to ensure a constructive and transparent exchange of information and ideas, users should follow these guidelines:

- Do not transmit any material that contains any kind of virus, spyware, or malware.
In addition, comments posted to this page will be monitored and inappropriate content will be removed as soon as possible and without prior notice. The Sac Metro Air District reserves the right to remove inappropriate content, including, but not limited to:
- Posts that bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
- Posts that contain vulgar, obscene or profane language.
- Posts that promote, foster, or perpetuate discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability or sexual orientation.
- Posts that contain content that: is considered to be hate speech, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
- Posts that are off-topic or personal attacks on other posters.
- Posts that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems.
- Posts that include fraudulent, inaccurate, libelous, or misleading information about the Sac Metro Air District.
- Posts in support of, or opposition to, political campaigns, candidates, or ballot measures.
- Posts of any proprietary, confidential, or privileged information.
- Posts with content that suggest or encourage illegal activity.
- Posts about any commercial solicitations (i.e.: asking users to "like" a Facebook page or visit another website).
The Sac Metro Air District is not responsible for, and neither endorses nor opposes, comments placed on this site by visitors to the site. Any comments submitted to these pages are public records subject to disclosure. The District reserves the right to monitor, restrict access to, edit, modify or remove any content on this site.
